Terms of Service
Last updated · May 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of the website at thecoppercanopy.com (“the site”), operated by The Copper Canopy Club (“Copper Canopy,” “we,” “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
These terms cover the website itself. Your physical membership at the club, once open, will be governed by a separate Membership Agreement provided at signup. Where these documents conflict on a membership topic, the Membership Agreement wins.
Using the site
You can browse, share, and inquire freely. In exchange, you agree not to:
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically download the site beyond what a normal visitor would do.
- Attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other visitors.
- Submit false information through our forms or impersonate someone else.
- Use the site for anything illegal.
Reservations and payments
Founding 100 and Charter 150 memberships are reserved through our payment processor, Stripe. When you complete checkout you’re agreeing to Stripe’s terms and to the Membership Agreement linked from the receipt. Reservations are subject to availability — if a tier sells out between your viewing the page and your checkout, we will refund any duplicate or oversold transactions.
Refunds and the post-opening 6-week guarantee are described in the Membership Agreement. Until then, you may cancel a pre-opening reservation at any time by emailing us at matt@thecoppercanopy.com.
Content on the site
Everything on the site — copy, photography, renderings, brand marks, the “canopy” mark, the name “The Copper Canopy Club” — is owned by Copper Canopy or used with permission. You may share links and short excerpts in good faith (press, member introductions, social posts). Anything more — full-page mirroring, derivative branding, commercial reuse of the renderings — needs our written permission first.
Third-party services
We use Typeform for forms and Stripe for payments. When you interact with those, you’re also subject to their terms. We don’t control how they operate; we rely on them because they meet a higher bar of security and reliability than we could build ourselves for a pre-launch site.
No warranties
The site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate, fast, and online, but we can’t promise it will always work, always be current, or always be free of bugs. Pricing, capacity, and opening dates are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed by email.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Copper Canopy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you’ve paid us in the past twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Columbia County or Richmond County, Georgia, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will reflect the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
